Hello Reeve!

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and well wishes surrounding Reeve's birth. He was born at 4:28 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9th. We had a bit of a scare when he was born - the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and had been pinched between his shoulder and the birth canal during the birth (sorry to be so graphic). He was not breathing or responding when he came out. By the grace of God, the nurses were able to revive him and we heard his sweet cry in a less than 2 minutes after he was born. They were definitely the longest 2 minutes of my life! Our little guy is a fighter. We have nicknamed him "Superman" because of his comeback and because of his name. Cheesy, I know. We are so grateful to God for his protection and for our sweet little boy. Big brother Wesley adores the new "beebee" and loves to kiss his head and pat him.
