Welcome Summer

Happy Memorial Day weekend! It's in the 90's here so summer has definitely arrived. Ugh! It's been a fun weekend so far. On Friday Wesley tripped while getting out of the kiddie pool and busted his lip. Thankfully, the bleeding stopped quickly...no stitches required. Whew! Today we had a pancake breakfast and Steve let me go back to sleep while he took Wesley to Bass Pro Shop to see the boats and fish. Tonight we went to church and had Reeve dedicated. The theme was "Kid Week" and they had bounce houses, a bubble tent, face painting, cotton candy, snow cones, etc. after the service. Bill, Rebecca and the kids plus Rebecca's Mom (who was in town from Austin) came to see Reeve dedicated. We felt very loved! Thanks guys! After church we went to Braum's for dinner and ice cream. Tomorrow we are going to the Ft. Worth zoo to celebrate Moriah's 2nd birthday. This is our first trip to the zoo, so we are looking forward to it and hope we don't melt in the heat. Not sure yet what Monday will hold...I'm just glad to have hubs home! I did buy some ribs, so we'll throw those on the barbie and have ourselves a little feast! Ahh...summer!
