Merry Christmas!

To all my faithful blog readers...Merry Christmas! I pray you are filled with peace, love and joy overflowing as we celebrate this special season of Christ's birth! He is the TRUE reason we celebrate...let's not forget! I thought I would update you on some milestones and news in the Preskenis household. I know if I don't write them down I'll forget, so here goes:

1. I have made it to week 24 of pregnancy. Not sure how that happened so quick, but it did! Just 16 more to go.
2. Despite having a growing belly that knocks me off balance every so often, I've managed to keep up with a very active 18 month old.
3. The active 18 month old can now climb the ladder on his play set all by himself! And the swing is a huge hit...he would swing for hours if I let him. Still not a big fan of the slide, but we are working on that.
4. My hot hubby is the best dad ever! He takes over when he gets home from work and on the weekends to give me a break...therefore, he hardly ever gets a break! What a guy!
5. We are VERY excited about a new Dunkin Donuts being built just 2 miles from our house! Hot hubby is especially excited about this. He actually asked for this for Christmas last year as a joke and now it's becoming a reality. Needless to say, we will be frequent customers.
6. Wesley has added a few words to his limited vocabulary, including: "Moo" (what a cow says), "Moriah" (his cousin's name), "Pa-Pa" (what he calls Tracy's Dad...he only whispers it though, which my Dad says is out of reverence), and "oooh" (what he says when he sees Christmas lights). He still regularly says: "Nana" (for banana and Tracy's Mom), "Dada", "Mama", "Akkel" (apple), "Acck" (ball) and "Ahhhh" (when he is thirsty).
7. Wesley has become a HUGE fan of Baby Einstein "A Day on the Farm". We watch this a least 3 times a day. This is the only thing he will watch.
Now for some recent pictures. Enjoy!

That is too funny about Steve wishing for a Dunkin' Donuts for Christmas then GETTING IT!

And Wesley's whispering your dad's name "out of reverence" cracked me up, too.

Merry Christmas, friend!
