Okay, it was definitely time. I put it off as long as I could, but when someone at Walmart said to my son (dressed in blue and navy I might add), "She is so cute!", I knew it was time. Steve had been bugging me for several months to get it done, so I finally did. It was heartbreaking to see those adorable curls fall to the floor, but I managed to get through it. And Wesley did GREAT! How can you not love driving a taxi car while the soothing sounds and pictures of Baby Einstein play out in front of you? Cool Cuts for Kids knows what they are doing! Lots of distraction! He didn't even mind the buzzing of the shears around his ears (try saying that several times fast). I think I expected him to scream the whole time like he did at our last doctors visit. Granted, he had a double ear infection then, but I still expected screaming when the stranger (who was a very nice woman in this case) approached him with scissors. But it didn't happen! He pouted a little when she sprayed his head with the water bottle, but it was smooth sailing after that. Here are the before and after pics.
